The Kingdom Cup 2021

Kingdom Cup 2021 in association with:

Alan Hayes of Portumna Golf Club successfully defends his Kingdom Cup title and qualifies for the Grand Final of the Pinergy Series

  • After 3 days of play, a huge congratulations goes out to Alan Hayes who has successfully defended his title with a fantastic combined total of 113pts. The foundation for his success no doubt was layed in a remarkable 43 points in the second round at Waterville. Despite this, Alan was chased all the way home by our runner-up, Nick Burns who had a sensational 46 points at Dooks golf club in the final round. Another one of the team from Duck Hook (our official clothing partners), Ben Scott filled the podium coming in third. Final Scores can be viewed below.
  • Alan takes home the Kingdom Cup Trophy and the all-important ticket to our Adare Manor event later this year.  If anyone else wishes to play in this event or any other of our events this year, please click here.

A huge thank you to all the competitors for supporting us and indeed the wider Tourism and Hospitality sector in Ireland. We are looking forward to hosting you for what promises to be a fantastic event. As well as getting in some competitive golf, you will get to renew old acquaintances and make some new friends while enjoying the best of Irish Hospitality.

At this time we would like to offer a big thanks to the series sponsors Pinergy and Duck Hook, for helping us to provide this and other wonderful events this summer. We would also like to express huge thanks to our accommodation providers, Waterville Golf Club and Dooks Golf Club for all your help in putting this together.

The Pinergy Series rolls on to Galway next week where golf at Galway Bay and Portumna and a couple of nights at the Connaught Hotel will ensure another great event.
