Kingdom Cup Blessed with Hazy Sunshine

Hayes Outshines the field in Kerry

Alan Hayes won the inaugural Kingdom cup in glorious conditions in Kerry. With a total of 115 points, Alan had 39 points in Dooks another 39 at Waterville and 37 points at Killarney Golf Club. Luke Minogue of Castelwarden playing off 5 was a gallant runner up with a total of 114 points. Arguably the performance of the week was from the Gross winner, Kevin Robinson playing off 1, which included a 67 gross at the World Famous Waterville Golf Links. Eileen Clasby was the winner of the Ladies event with a score of 98 points on her visit time playing these three courses. Full Results are available here.

Thankfully the weather played it's part and behaved very nicely and everybody seemed to have a great time. A big thanks to those that left such Trip Advisor reviews about the event.

At this point, we would love to thank all the competitors who supported the event many of whom have suggested they want to take part again. We would also like to thank the Golf Courses and Scotts Hotel for taking care of our clients during the event. A big thanks also to Shane O'Connell from "Talk Birdie to me" who covered the event taking video footage, photographs, and interviews with competitors.

2021 Kingdom Cup

With 88 Irish golfers competing and preferential Irish Residency rates, we look forward to the event going from strength to strength in years to come. We will be releasing plans for the 2021 event in the coming days. we are in discussion with the three clubs and hotels about availability for next year. We look forward to renewing friendships at next year's event. We will have all the details very soon and will be publishing the details and contacting all this years competitors and Newsletter subscribers with details.
