Galway Bay is where Padraig Harrington, secured his first selection for the European Ryder Cup team when he finished second to Costantino Rocca in the West of Ireland Challenge on the European Tour. 

 

Day 2

Play Enniscrone

Enjoy a cooked breakfast before saying goodbye to Sligo town. Travel south to take on the beast that is Enniscrone. By any standards, this is a World Class Links and regarded by many as one of the best golf courses in Ireland. Enniscrone is simply spectacular and often proves to be a visitors favourite when reviewing their trip.  

 

Day 3

Connemara GC

After a stunning drive, you will arrive at a links that has earned a host of enthusiastic admirers. Tom Watson suggests this is " A true championship links. the elevated greens on the back nine are spectacular". While Peter Alliss suggests, "if there were a course like this on the West Coast of England, it would surely host the British Open."

 

Day 4

Galway Golf Club

Galway Golf Club

Nestled on the North shore of Galway Bay, Galway Golf Club boasts none other than Alastair McKenzie as it's Course designer. Highly regarded in Irish Golf, the club has been granted the hosting of the Irish Amateur Open Championship for 2020 and 2021.  This member's club has a limited number of green fees however we are delighted to be able to include it on this special offer.

Galway International Arts Festival

The multidisciplinary festival takes place each July in Galway, Ireland and covers a range of art forms, including theatre, dance, music, opera, street spectacle, visual arts, discussion and comedy. In 2018, over 200 events took place in 32 venues over the course of 14 days with an attendance in excess of 250,000. The Guardian named the festival as one of the Top 5 Summer Festivals in Europe. The 2019 festival runs from July 15-28.
