Ryder Cup 2027 – Special Terms & Conditions
These Special Terms & Conditions apply to all Ryder Cup 2027 packages booked through Lyons Links.
By paying a deposit, the Lead Traveller confirms that they have read and accepted these Terms & Conditions on behalf of every traveller included within the booking.
Where these Terms differ from Lyons Links’ standard Terms & Conditions, these Ryder Cup Terms shall prevail.
- Official Ryder Cup Packages
All Ryder Cup packages sold by Lyons Links include Official Ryder Cup inventory supplied through Ryder Cup Travel Services (RCTS).
Package components are sold as a complete package and cannot be separated, exchanged or substituted unless agreed in writing by Lyons Links.
- Booking Confirmation
Your booking is only confirmed once:
the required deposit has been received;
Lyons Links has confirmed the booking in writing;
you have received your booking confirmation.
Until confirmation is issued, availability and pricing remain subject to change.
- Deposits & Payments
The deposit secures official Ryder Cup inventory and accommodation on your behalf.
All deposits are strictly non-refundable.
Remaining payment dates will be detailed on your invoice and must be paid by the stated due dates.
Failure to make payment by the due date may result in:
cancellation of your booking;
loss of monies already paid;
release of your package for resale.
Lyons Links reserves the right to charge reasonable administration costs and interest on overdue balances.
- Cancellation by the Client
Due to the nature of Official Ryder Cup inventory, cancellation charges are significantly stricter than those applying to standard Lyons Links golf tours.
If you cancel your booking:
Deposit paid – Deposit forfeited.
Following the second payment date – 50% of the total package price.
Following the final balance due date – 100% of the total package price.
These charges reflect the non-recoverable commitments Lyons Links makes with Ryder Cup Travel Services, accommodation providers and other suppliers.
We strongly recommend that all travellers purchase comprehensive travel insurance immediately after booking.
- Changes to Your Booking
Any request to:
change traveller names;
substitute travellers;
amend rooming;
change occupancy;
alter accommodation;
amend travel dates;
is entirely subject to availability and supplier approval.
Lyons Links cannot guarantee that any requested change will be possible.
Where changes are permitted, an administration fee together with any supplier costs may apply.
- Ryder Cup Tickets
Official Ryder Cup tickets:
remain the property of the event organisers until issued;
are subject to Ryder Cup Europe and Ryder Cup Travel Services regulations;
may not be resold;
may not be transferred independently of your package;
may not be exchanged for different days.
Unused tickets have no cash value.
- Traveller Information
Clients must provide all requested traveller information by the deadlines advised by Lyons Links.
This may include:
passport information;
date of birth;
nationality;
address;
emergency contacts;
photographs where required by the organisers.
Failure to provide requested information on time may result in delays or cancellation of ticket allocation without refund.
- Accommodation & Supplier Changes
While every effort will be made to deliver the advertised itinerary, Lyons Links reserves the right to substitute:
hotels;
transport providers;
golf courses;
restaurants;
sightseeing experiences;
with alternatives of a similar standard where reasonably necessary.
Such changes do not constitute grounds for cancellation.
- Event Changes
The Ryder Cup organisers reserve the right to amend:
match schedules;
admission procedures;
venue rules;
transport arrangements;
security procedures;
hospitality arrangements.
Lyons Links shall not be liable for changes made by the official event organisers.
- Force Majeure
Lyons Links shall not be liable for failure to perform its obligations where such failure results from circumstances beyond its reasonable control including but not limited to:
extreme weather;
natural disasters;
government restrictions;
pandemics;
industrial action;
terrorism;
war;
airline disruption;
supplier insolvency.
Should the Ryder Cup be postponed or cancelled, Lyons Links will pass on any refunds or replacement packages received from Ryder Cup Travel Services after deduction of any unrecoverable costs already incurred.
- Travel Insurance
Comprehensive travel insurance is strongly recommended and should include:
cancellation;
medical expenses;
travel disruption;
personal belongings.
Failure to obtain suitable insurance remains entirely at the traveller’s risk.
- Client Conduct
All travellers are expected to comply with:
Ryder Cup venue regulations;
hotel policies;
transport provider rules;
local laws.
Lyons Links reserves the right to withdraw services without refund where a traveller’s behaviour places others at risk or causes significant disruption.
- No Refund for Unused Services
No refunds will be given for unused accommodation, tickets, golf, transfers, sightseeing or any other package inclusion where the client chooses not to use the service.
- Limitation of Liability
Lyons Links acts as organiser of your travel arrangements but relies upon independent suppliers for accommodation, transport, golf, admissions and other services.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lyons Links’ liability shall be limited to the total amount paid directly to Lyons Links for the package in question.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability where such exclusion is prohibited by law.
- Chargebacks
Clients agree to raise any booking concerns directly with Lyons Links before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute.
Where a chargeback is found to be unjustified, Lyons Links reserves the right to recover any associated administration costs, banking charges and legal expenses.
- Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by the laws of Ireland.
Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish Courts.
