Home of Golf Classic, February 28 to March 2, 2024 Results

 

The fifth edition of our Home of Golf Classic took place from February 28th to March 2nd. The trip included three days in the magnificent, 5-Star Old Course Hotel alongside three rounds of golf: at the Jubilee Course in St Andrews, the spectacular Leven Links course and the highlight of many a golfers playing career, a round on the Old Course in St Andrews. 36 players were fortunate enough to complete their dream of playing on the hollowed ground where Tiger and Jack won two Open Championships each. We had a truly amazing time. It was a privilege to see so many players become humbled by the difficulty of the Old Course, but incapable of keeping the smile off their faces throughout. The weather was perfect and the rain gear wasn’t needed once during the trip!

Our own Champion Golfer of the Year was Declan Mullally with some wonderful scoring throughout. When things were looking tight coming down the stretch on the final day, he only got better and won with a few holes to spare. Our ladies winner was Jacinta Foran, who is very excited to see how the top ladies in the professional game fair out on the Old Course when the Ladies Open is staged there in August this year. We have no doubt if will be another special championships at the Home of Golf. St Andrews is truly a magical place for any golf fan. It was a joy to see the child-like, infectious excitement as players walked alongside the Road Hole green on their arrival day.
