Scotland is the birthplace of golf, and nowhere is that heritage more evident than along its east coast.

The Grand Tour of Scottish Golf brings together the courses that have shaped the game for generations. Walk the fairways of the Old Course at St Andrews, enjoy the full member-for-a-day experience at Muirfield, and discover the timeless appeal of Kingsbarns, North Berwick, Carnoustie and the New Course.

Combining championship golf, historic clubhouses and some of the most spectacular links landscapes in the world, this journey showcases Scottish golf at its very finest.

For many golfers, this is the trip by which all others are measured.

Day 1 | Welcome to St Andrews

Arrive into Scotland and make your way to St Andrews.

Spend the afternoon exploring the Home of Golf, from the famous Swilcan Bridge to the historic streets that have welcomed golfers for centuries.

Day 2 | Kingsbarns Golf Links

Stretching along nearly two miles of spectacular coastline, Kingsbarns has earned its reputation as one of the world’s premier modern links courses.

Exceptional conditioning, dramatic sea views and unforgettable holes combine to create a golfing experience that perfectly complements the historic courses nearby.

Day 3 | Carnoustie Championship Course

Host of multiple Open Championships and one of the greatest tests in golf.

Carnoustie demands precision, patience and strategic thinking, rewarding those who embrace its challenge while providing a memorable championship experience.

Day 4 | The New Course

Often overshadowed by its famous neighbour, the New Course is one of the finest traditional links courses in the world.

Designed by Old Tom Morris in 1895, it offers a true St Andrews experience with all the strategy, character and challenge expected from links golf at its highest level.

Day 5 | The Old Course at St Andrews

Today, walk in the footsteps of golfing legends.

The Old Course is more than a golf course; it is the spiritual home of the game. From the opening tee shot to the final walk across the Swilcan Bridge and up the famous 18th fairway, this is an experience every golfer dreams of.

Day 6 | North Berwick Golf Club

Today, travel south to East Lothian, often referred to as Scotland’s Golf Coast.

North Berwick is one of the world’s most influential links courses and remains a favourite amongst golfers for its creativity, charm and unforgettable seaside setting. Its famous holes have inspired architects and players for generations.

Day 7 | Muirfield

A fitting finale to one of Scotland’s greatest golfing journeys.

Home of The Honourable Company of Edinburgh Golfers, Muirfield remains one of the most respected venues in world golf. Enjoy the full member-for-a-day experience, including morning foursomes, lunch in the clubhouse and an afternoon singles round on one of golf’s most revered championship courses.

Few golfing experiences anywhere can match a day at Muirfield.

Day 8 | Depart Scotland

Enjoy a final breakfast before departing for your onward journey.

Having experienced Scotland’s most iconic links courses, you’ll leave with memories that will last a lifetime and a deeper appreciation for the country that gave golf to the world.
