Overview
England • 5 Days
Royal Liverpool • Royal Birkdale • Royal Lytham & St Annes
Three Open Championship venues. Three consecutive days of championship golf. One unforgettable journey along England’s Golf Coast.
Day 1 | Arrival in Liverpool
Arrive into Liverpool or Manchester Airport and make your way to Liverpool City Centre. Home to The Beatles, a vibrant waterfront and one of the UK’s most exciting food scenes, Liverpool is the perfect base for the days ahead. Spend the afternoon exploring the Albert Dock, enjoying a pint in one of the city’s historic pubs, or settling into one of the many excellent restaurants before the golf begins.
Day 2 | Royal Liverpool (Hoylake)
The first stop on the Royal Trilogy is Royal Liverpool, one of the most historic venues in championship golf. Host to The Open Championship on thirteen occasions, Hoylake has crowned legends including Bobby Jones, Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy.
Its flat terrain disguises a stern challenge. Firm fairways, strategic bunkering and ever-present coastal winds demand thoughtful golf from start to finish. The closing stretch is among the finest in links golf and offers a fitting introduction to England’s Golf Coast.
Day 3 | Royal Birkdale
Many golfers consider Royal Birkdale to be England’s finest links course. Consistently ranked among the world’s best, it has hosted The Open Championship ten times and remains one of the most admired championship venues anywhere in golf.
Towering dunes frame every hole, creating a dramatic setting while providing a rare sense of definition for a links course. Immaculately presented and endlessly memorable, Royal Birkdale combines championship pedigree with outstanding playability.
Day 4 | Royal Lytham & St Annes
The final chapter of the Royal Trilogy takes you to Royal Lytham & St Annes, perhaps the most distinctive of the three Royal venues. Unlike most links courses, the opening hole begins inland before the course gradually reveals its championship character.
Famous for its 200-plus bunkers and demanding green complexes, Lytham has hosted eleven Open Championships and rewarded some of the game’s greatest champions. Precision is everything here, providing a fitting finale to one of the strongest three-day stretches of golf anywhere in the world.
Day 5: Departure
After breakfast, depart from Liverpool or Manchester Airport.
Having experienced three of England’s most iconic championship venues in consecutive days, you’ll leave with a deeper appreciation for England’s Golf Coast and memories that will last a lifetime.
