England’s Golf Coast is home to one of the greatest concentrations of championship golf anywhere in the world. From Open Championship venues to revered private members’ clubs, this seven-day journey showcases the very best of the region, combining world-class golf with the vibrant city of Liverpool and the timeless charm of England’s northwest coastline.

Day 1 | Arrival & Royal Liverpool

Arrive into Liverpool and begin your journey at Royal Liverpool. Host venue of The Open Championship on fourteen occasions, Hoylake has crowned champions from Bobby Jones to Rory McIlroy. Fast-running fairways, strategic bunkering and ever-changing coastal winds provide a memorable introduction to England’s Golf Coast.

Day 2 | Formby Golf Club

Set amongst towering sand dunes and pine forests, Formby is one of England’s most distinctive golfing experiences. A private members’ club renowned for its conditioning and natural beauty, it offers a unique blend of links golf and woodland scenery rarely found elsewhere.

Day 3 | West Lancashire Golf Club

Founded in 1873, West Lancashire is one of England’s oldest and most respected links courses. Firm underfoot, exposed to the elements and rich in character, it delivers the kind of authentic links golf that has attracted golfers to this coastline for generations.

Day 4 | Hillside Golf Club

A favourite among those who know England’s Golf Coast best. Hillside’s front nine gradually builds before revealing one of the finest back nines in British golf. Dramatic dunes, elevated tees and outstanding variety make it a course that regularly exceeds expectations.

Day 5 | Royal Birkdale

Many golfers consider Royal Birkdale to be England’s finest links course. Consistently ranked among the world’s best, it has hosted The Open Championship ten times and remains one of the most admired championship venues anywhere in golf.

Towering dunes frame every hole, creating a dramatic setting while providing a rare sense of definition for a links course. Immaculately presented and endlessly memorable, Royal Birkdale combines championship pedigree with outstanding playability.

Day 6 | Royal Lytham & St Annes

The final chapter of the Royal Trilogy takes you to Royal Lytham & St Annes, perhaps the most distinctive of the three Royal venues. Unlike most links courses, the opening hole begins inland before the course gradually reveals its championship character.

Famous for its 200-plus bunkers and demanding green complexes, Lytham has hosted eleven Open Championships and rewarded some of the game’s greatest champions. Precision is everything here, providing a fitting finale to one of the strongest three-day stretches of golf anywhere in the world.

Day 7 | Departure

Depart for home after a journey through England’s Golf Coast, where championship history, timeless links golf and warm hospitality combine to create an unforgettable experience.
